Here's the opening of a piece by Bach that's been arranged for two treble clef instruments.

Notes that should sound together are always aligned vertically. All the instruments (just two in this case) are bracketed at the beginning of each 'system'. Play to the end of the system, then pick up your part at the beginning of the next.
